Location: Fully Remote with 20% travel

The Senior Manager, Value Based Care Products will be accountable for the ideation and development of value-based care products offered to payors, regional nephrology practices & dialysis providers seeking to better manage their CKD and ESRD patient populations. The Senior Manager will be responsible for defining the overall value proposition, detailing specific products and payment arrangements, setting clinical outcome targets based on clinical guidance, developing new network capabilities around population health, building business cases, and working closely with actuarial support to model and price the solution. This individual will also be responsible for launching value-based solutions and testing new capabilities in the market in partnership with marketing and sales. The Senior Manager, Value Based Care Product will play a critical role in shaping the overall value-based care product roadmap.
Primary responsibilities:
Create business cases for risk-based arrangements and manage them through the development life cycle, including financial approval, detailed measurement approach, and ongoing performance monitoring
Partner with payor, nephrologist & dialysis provider business & clinical teams to co-develop mutually beneficial offerings
Develop a value-based care roadmap that captures current offerings and long-term innovative enhancements, including competitive landscape
Define user stories and product requirements to set priorities for cross-functional teams, including clinical, finance, actuarial, underwriting, operations, marketing, sales and analytics
Provide ongoing development and performance updates to Kidney Care and CVS Health leadership

Required Qualifications
• Bachelor's Degree
• 3 years of experience in designing programs to enable success under Value Based Care
• 3 years of detailing specific products and payment arrangements, setting clinical outcome targets
• 3 years of Payor Provider Contracting Strategy and Design along with the Analytics & Financial Acumen as it relates to value-based care incentive models

COVID Requirements

Preferred Qualifications
• Start-up company or division experience
• 1 year of Agile Product Development preferred
• Experience with regional nephrology practices & dialysis providers
• Ability to collaborate with diverse and complex stakeholders, including interacting, gaining credibility, building relationships with, and influencing others at all levels of the organization, including senior leadership
• Self-motivation, entrepreneurialism, high energy, and the ability to successfully function in a high-demand, performance-driven environment with significant exposure to senior leadership
• Experience developing new products and/or services with demonstrated results
• Self-starter: ability to take ownership over processes
• Excellent teamwork skills and ability to collaborate in a highly matrixed environment
• Master's Degree (MBA/MPH)
