Love in Faith is an inspiring faith-based apparel and product company with a mission to uplift
and bring people together through our unique range of faith-based products. We are seeking a
highly Virtual Assistant to join our eCommerce team. In this role, you will be responsible for
optimizing products on our Shopify platform.
Here’s the type of work the VA will be performing:
- Create Purchase Orders in Cin7.
- Communicate with Finance regarding PO deposits, outstanding balances, etc.
- Set up new vendors in Cin7.
- Generate UPC numbers/UPC bar codes on the GS1 website, organize barcode files, and deliver them to Design Tech for packaging.
- Enter PO information onto the internal Monday board for PO tracking by other departments.
- Ensure OC3PL carton labels are generated and sent to appropriate vendors.
- Classify new products with HTS codes for customs.
- Connect overseas suppliers with the company's freight forwarder and resolve any issues with PO delivery and receipts. Keep internal departments informed on PO delivery and ready-to-sell dates.
- Communicate all new product details to the internal team for creating Shopify listings. Check Shopify listings for accuracy before they go live.
- Once new products are selling on Shopify, monitor sales and report back on inventory levels. Assist in placing re-orders as necessary.
- Monitor the customer service Slack channel for specified products and report positive and negative trends to PD for shaping new products and revisions to existing ones.
Experience and qualifications we’ll be looking for:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
- Experience in product development, purchasing, or a similar role.
- Familiarity with Cin7 and proficiency in using GS1 for UPC generation.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
- Knowledge of customs regulations and HTS codes.
