One of our critical and highly visible initiatives is building and scaling industry-leading lending digital applications and experiences for our customers. We're seeking a UX Researcher to inform product and design decisions and align OneMain's digital user experience to our customers' needs. In this role, you'll partner with designers, product managers, engineers, and other researchers to plan and execute research that shapes current and future product experiences. The UX Researcher will have a key role in enabling a growing design practice and shaping highly-visible and widely-used platforms.
We are seeking a motivated, creative, and analytical UX researcher with proven experience to support multidisciplinary teams - someone who is poised to make an impact through compelling UX research and direct customer connections.
Plan, manage, and execute primary and secondary research activities using suitable methods to inform product development processes by generating actionable user insights.
Synthesize and summarize findings within and across studies, identify key actionable insights and opportunities, and share them effectively with team members in an Agile environment with the aim to turn data into great user experiences.
Collaborate with product managers, UX designers, and other stakeholders to align research activities to impact business goals and user needs.
Support research to be conducted by UX designers through an expert, consultative approach.
Advocate for a customer-centric product orientation by honing understanding of our customers and prospects, their needs and behaviors.
Establish and articulate best practices for user research and expand our team capabilities.
Experience applying UX research to financial, e-commerce, or b2c products
Bachelor's degree and at least three years' experience conducting user research for digital products
A flexible, creative, and collaborative approach to research including experience with a broad range of research methods, data collection and analytical techniques such as moderated and unmoderated usability testing, observational methods, structured or semi structured interviews, and quantitative and qualitative data analysis.
Knowledge of best practices in human-centered design and research
Experience presenting findings, influencing and collaborating with a wide variety of product stakeholders
