Ping Identity is looking for an experienced front-end developer to join our User Experience dev team. As a UX Developer you will use your knowledge of HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and React to help our product teams implement UX designs. You will report to the Manager of UX Development. We hope you look forward to new challenges and are comfortable moving between different code bases and tech stacks while writing clean, maintainable code.

You will: 

  • Be an owner of Ping’s internal front-end libraries
  • Communicate with Ping UX designers and other development teams to narrow down requirements and produce deliverable estimates you are confident in
  • Work with teams from engineering and product management to ensure design integrity across the Ping Identity product suite
  • Debug, troubleshoot, and triage issues across a variety of browsers and technology stacks
  • Translate mockups and wireframes into clean, maintainable code
  • Use your experience to guide component architecture decisions and mentor other developers

You have: 

  • 3+ years experience in front-end development
  • Excellent modern HTML, CSS, and JavaScript skills
  • Experience writing Unit Tests (Jest, React Testing Library)
  • Proficiency with Git and the command line
  • A strong eye for design details and the capability to dissect design files for necessary information

You have an advantage if you also have:

  • 2+ years React development experience
  • Familiarity with build tools (Vite, esbuild, Babel, Webpack, Rollup) and how they impact library consumption
  • Understanding of CI pipelines for automated building, testing, and publishing of packages
  • Curiosity to explore new solutions and influence others to do the same
  • Simple and clear communication, especially when it comes to writing technical documentation geared towards other developers

Salary: $109,500-$126,072

In accordance with Colorado’s Equal Pay for Equal Work Act (SB 19-085) the approximate compensation range for this role in Colorado is listed above. Final compensation for this role will be determined by various factors, such as knowledge, skills, and abilities.
