Job Description

We are seeking a candidate who can confidently manage the entire construction site operation. The ideal candidate should possess the ability to identify and address potential risk areas to ensure the safety of our workforce. Furthermore, they should have experience in effectively communicating project milestones to clients and relevant stakeholders, as well as the capability to establish a well-defined project timeline for completion.

Requirements

Assume oversight of day-to-day operations for Commercial Construction projects.

Enforce adherence to safety, compliance, and quality regulations.

Maintain open and efficient communication with clients and project managers.

Efficiently manage subcontractors and ensure organization on the construction site.

Pre-Construction:

Conduct a thorough plan review to identify and address constructability issues.

Collaborate with the project manager to develop the construction schedule.

Review subcontractor work scopes.

Develop the site staging plan in alignment with SWPPP requirements, if necessary.

Engage with the Building Department to obtain the required inspections list and establish inspection procedures.

Construction:

Implement project safety protocols, including comprehensive reporting.

Conduct monthly OSHA CCP walk-throughs.

Maintain detailed daily log reports.

Prepare weekly progress reports complete with jobsite photos.

Review submittals and shop drawings.

Coordinate with subcontractors, including preconstruction meetings, scheduling, inspections, and quality control.

Oversee jobsite clean-up.

Manage material and equipment inventory and tracking.

Provide oversight of the project schedule, including weekly 3-week look ahead schedules.

Coordinate and obtain all necessary inspections and sign-offs required for substantial project completion and Certificate of Occupancy.

Develop the project pre-punch list in collaboration with the project manager before the owner develops their own.

Coordinate and verify any additional work in the field.

Post-Construction:

Document and supervise the completion of the owner's punch list.

Generate project as-built documentation.

Oversee the completion of warranty work.

Software Skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Word, and Procore.

Qualifications:

Willingness to travel.

Experience with Corporate Office finish-outs, Interiors Tenant Improvement, and Industrial Finish Outs.

3-5 years of construction experience.

Strong project management and communication skills.

Ability to interpret and understand construction documents.

Familiarity with regulatory construction standards.
