Job Description

WWC Federal is seeking a Business Systems / Process Analyst - SME for a contract within the Department of Defense (DoD) at USTRANSCOM in support of Business Process Reengineering (BPR) for the Joint Transportation Management System (JTMS).

Duties and Responsibilities may include but are not limited to:

  • Decomposes system scope and objectives.
  • Reviews process models of a wide range of organizational processes.
  • Draws out customer requirements and compares them to process map constructs.
  • May use statistical methods and Lean Six Sigma techniques to provide client with process capabilities.
  • Support team in understanding process mapping and improvement methodologies and process improvement systems.
  • Use application specific process analysis functions to identify process trends and patterns.
  • Focuses on linking four (4) primary process model domains (Technology, Data, Business Operations, & Applications) into an end-to-end organizational understanding.
  • Deconstructs Functional Value-Added Chain Models for future ERP configuration efforts.
  • Deconstructs Event Drive Process Chains/Models for future ERP configuration efforts.
  • Creates and conveys linkage between Organizational Models, System Identification Models, and Products/Services Output Models

Expected salary range: $65,000 - $90,000

This position is contingent on contract award..

Work Environment:

  • Moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phone and printers) and /or occasional Loud noise (airfield, large equipment).
  • Ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time.

Physical Demands:

  • While performing the responsibilities of the job, the employee is required to sit, stand, talk, and hear.
  • Employee is often required to sit and use their hands and fingers to operate a computer.

Travel:

  • 0-10% / Minimal Travel.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

  • Must have the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. (Eligible to pass Federal security clearance process. Please visit the link for FAQs: https://www.dcsa.mil/mc/pv/mbi/gicp/).
  • A minimum of 5 years of technical writing experience.
  • 2 years of experience with DOD writing and processes.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in using all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Outstanding communication skills, influencing abilities, and client focus.
  • Professional proficiency in English is required.
  • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis. WWC Federal will not sponsor applicants for work visas for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree.
  • Current, active Secret security clearance.
