Headquartered 14 miles northwest of Boston, in historic Lexington, Massachusetts, Agilent Technologies maintains its Seahorse manufacturing facilities in Chicopee Massachusetts, European headquarters in Copenhagen, Denmark and Asia headquarters in Shanghai, China.Responsibilities:* Provides remote post-sales application/technology support and technical services to external customers and/or internal field personnel utilizing remote diagnostic capabilities. This includes scientific support on assay design, data analysis, and troubleshooting, as well as other reactive actions that result in a timely and cost-effective problem resolution for customers and proactive preventive actions.* May support 3rd party products and occasionally visit the customer site.* Leverages post-sales interactions with customers to probe and qualify further revenue opportunities.* May book transactional sales opportunities and provides highly qualified leads to sales.* The shift for this role is 11am-8pm EST, Monday through Friday. Qualifications Qualifications: The ideal candidate will have a background in biology, especially biochemistry and molecular/cellular biology. Familiarity with cell-based assays a plus. Be self-motivated, detail-oriented, and possess superb organization skills. The ability to follow instructions and work well in a collaborative environment is required. Bachelor's Degree in a biological science required, Master's Degree or Ph.D. preferred, with 3+ years of post-graduate research experience. 2+ years of related biological post-sales support and technical service experience preferred but not required. What will make you stand out: Candidates with experience in cell biology laboratory preferred. Experience in use of SAP CRM preferred. Knowledge of general lab techniques/practices.
