You will act as the product owner for software development team building enterprise services and solutions primarily focused on learning analytics as well as internal and external reporting pertinent to McGraw Hill's products and businesses. This role requires both product ownership of the development teams, leadership of cross-functional coordination for implementation, and building trust across teams of technologists, user experience designers, business stakeholders, and customers. What can you expect from the position? • Partner with technical teams to draft Agile epics and stories with appropriate level of detail. Maintain a groomed backlog and prioritize stories for development, effectively managing scope and trade-offs.• Collaborate with Program Managers and Engineering Leads to facilitate Agile ceremonies; ensure cross team dependencies are identified and managed; and ensure on-time, on-quality software releases.• Work with TPMs and stakeholders across the company to gather and prioritize new requirements.• Triage incoming software defects and queries from internal and external customers, following up to ensure defect resolutions meet SLA.• Create documentation as needed to streamline integrations and cross-team projects. What can you bring to the role?- 3-5 years of experience in leading Agile- based, software product development teams. • Successful in leading and collaborating across teams of technologists, designers, and customer-facing teams.• Technical acumen - capable of writing requirements for API-based solutions. • Enjoy collaborating closely with software developers and quality engineers.• Ability to handle complexity, process new information quickly, and manage dynamic projects with competing resources and priorities.• Willing to work independently while delivering results in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial, think-on-your-feet business environment.Preferred Qualifications:• Engineering background preferred, but not required. • Experience in educational technology or education.
