Our engineering team provides the Carbon Health modern tech-enabled health care platform that combines technology with inviting healthcare clinics designed from the ground up putting patient care first.In this role, you will lead our Growth Engineering team, partnering with product, design, marketing, and data science to build solutions that will increase patient retention and organic patient acquisition. Achieving this in a health care setting is challenging - as a care provider, we don't want patients to spend much time in our software, or think about us all the time; our goal is to help as many patients as possible get better, as quickly and as cheaply as possible.What You'll DoWork with data science, marketing, and product team to define the product strategy for Carbon health, including roadmap, customer segmentation, positioning, messaging, etc.Architect & build a scalable system that enables engineers and non-engineers to create customizable, modular, and interactive landing pages.Build a cross-platform event tracking system.Build marketing data pipelines.Optimize patient acquisition flows to increase the conversion rate.Work with product team to move our Carbon Health application to #1 in the app store (medical category).Mentor engineers to help them grow.About YouMinimum of at least 1 year of Tech Lead experience.Minimum of 5+ years of experience in backend OR full-stack product developmentExperience in functional programming, preferably in Scala or KotlinExperience in React.Familiarity in one of the strictly-typed, high-level programming languages such as: Java, Scala, Kotlin, etc.Familiarity in Next.jsPerksForward-thinking, transparent, and inclusive company cultureCollaborative environment within and across our clinic sites, virtual care teams and technology teams across the country401K with matching contribution and Pre-tax benefits including Commuter (transit & parking)Competitive compensation with medical, dental, vision, 401K (with match), FSA Medical, FSA Dependent Care and other great benefits for full time & part time employees who work 20+ hours a week #LI-REMOTEA BRIEF HISTORYCarbon Health is the leading national healthcare provider with a mission to bring world-class healthcare to everyone.
