About the Role:  

As the Technology Director, you will play a pivotal role in shaping our clients' digital futures and driving enterprise transformation. Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, you will lead our efforts in delivering cutting-edge technology solutions and driving business growth. You will lead a multidisciplinary team across various technical functions, providing guidance and mentorship based on customer requirements and desired outcomes. You will be responsible for building and managing a comprehensive portfolio of cloud and data engineering products and services that enable our clients to undertake digital and cloud transformations successfully. 


Key Responsibilities 

  • Provide visionary leadership at the intersection of business and technology, driving strategic initiatives and shaping enterprise strategy. 
  • Develop and execute go-to-market technology portfolios tailored to consulting and professional services firms, aligning with market needs and client expectations. 
  • Lead and mentor cross-functional teams in cloud modernization, migration, and engineering, ensuring delivery excellence and client satisfaction. 
  • Partner with clients to define their vision, develop actionable roadmaps, and deliver innovative solutions that drive business outcomes and strategic objectives. 
  • Drive thought leadership initiatives, contributing to industry forums, publishing whitepapers, and presenting at conferences to showcase expertise and insights. 
  • Foster a culture of innovation and continuous improvement, identifying opportunities for optimization and enhancement across technology platforms and services. 
  • Demonstrate robust commercial acumen, understanding market dynamics, pricing strategies, and competitive landscape to articulate value propositions effectively. 
  • Lead the technical team/s in delivering specific account objectives, aligning with contract terms and customer expectations. Implement the account's technical strategy and ensure the delivery of technical outcomes for the customer. 
  • Work closely with the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) to develop the account strategy and contribute to the broader company's technical strategy. 
  • Identify potential new technical solutions applicable company-wide, expanding customer propositions beyond the specific account/s. 
  • Establish and drive account governance, including design reviews, gates, and other mechanisms to ensure project success and compliance. 
  • Identify areas for improvement in technical delivery, implementing automation and other mechanisms to enhance utilization and accelerate delivery to customers. 
  • Develop account team structures, establish reporting mechanisms, and manage individual goals to foster team growth and performance. 
  • Respond to new customer requirements, provide technical input to proposals, and scale teams based on evolving customer needs. 
  • Drive technical leadership across cloud platforms, with a particular focus on Azure infrastructure, data, and AI platforms. 
  • Demonstrate an in-depth understanding of data, including implementation analysis, modelling, data platforms, and reporting.
