Our Core Values are the standards by which we conduct ourselves day in and day out, both internally and externally.As a Senior Associate on our Specialized Tax Services - Tax Performance Engineering (TAXPE) team, you will apply your industry knowledge and experience as we work with companies to implement and optimize their tax reporting processes, data and related tools. Tax-specific software used on these projects includes those offered by Thomson Reuters Onesource, Longview, Corptax and Oracle. This role is a hands-on, process, data and technology focused position. A foundational knowledge of ASC 740 as well as US and multinational tax reporting challenges and requirements is a must. The typical TAXPE project involves a review and analysis of existing company processes, data and use of tax technology, including the use of Microsoft Excel and other complementary technologies and tools. Projects typically cover the areas of tax planning and forecasting, the income tax provision, income tax compliance, and other areas, including indirect tax reporting. You will also assist in preparing process manuals, maps and checklists for the company staff relating to revised processes and use of technologies and tools. As an Senior Associate, you will support the team's efforts in terms of marketing, networking and business development. You will be expected to work with other offices within the firm, assisting with enhancing and optimizing our internal tax processes and use of technologies. Other responsibilities may include training at client locations, providing support to clients post implementation, attending various conferences relating to TAXPE initiatives and assisting with the preparation of proposals and fee estimates for projects.
