About the Role
As a Tax Filing Specialist, you will be joining our tax operations team supporting the LumaTax product for US and Canada sales tax. You will assist with executing tax filing processes while developing foundational skills that can lead to advancement opportunities within the company.
This role is specifically designed for individuals at the beginning of their careers who are eager to learn and grow within the tax compliance industry. No prior filing experience is required for this role.
What you’ll be responsible for day-to-day
Tax Return Filing
- Assist in processing sales and use tax return filings across multiple jurisdictions in the US and Canada
- Help organize client transaction data according to established protocols
- Support the maintenance of filing schedules and deadline tracking
- Learn to identify and resolve basic filing discrepancies
- Document filing activities for record-keeping purposes
Benefits
Our pay compensation amount for this role is targeted at $24.08 - $25.96 hourly.
Final offer amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate location, experience, and expertise. The offer includes insurance (health, dental, and vision) and a 401(k) matching program.
