Due to recent growth, we have begun a search for a Talent Acquisition Specialist to join the Corporate Human Resources Team.

The Talent Acquisition Specialist will act as support to the Corporate Director of Talent Acquisition in the areas of Recruitment, Hiring, Recruitment Branding, Recruitment Media, DE&I and Management of the Management in Training Program for Pyramid Hotel Group. Working closing with the corporate HR and senior operating teams, he/she shall report to the Corporate Director of Talent Acquisition.

Duties include, but are not limited to the following:

  • Assist in the recruitment process and sourcing candidates for all core six, regional, home office, project management and asset management/resort group positions with a focus on Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Process includes:
  • Cold calling competitive hotels
  • On line advertising media
  • Advanced Linked In searches
  • Professional Associations
  • Qualifying candidates
  • Assist with scheduling of home office interviews with executive team
  • Act as a point of contact for all candidates coming through the home office
  • Meet with candidates interviewing in the home office to ensure that they are qualified and that they understand our organization and the role that they are interviewing for
  • Assist with reference checking and administration of background checks for all candidates coming through the home office
  • Be the point of contact for setting up new hotels with background checks and drug screening
  • Oversee the recruitment function of Pyramids Management In Training (MIT) program
  • Assist with implementation and development of the best Talent E-Tools for Field HR Professionals.
  • Assist with Hotel Due Diligence and or Transition when needed
Requirements:

The ideal Talent Acquisition Specialistcandidate will bring the following required, desired and optional assets to the company:

  • Bachelors degree and 2 3 years of recruiting experience, or experience supporting recruitment function from an in-house recruiting team/corporate environment.
  • Experience using ICIMS highly desired
  • Knowledge of Linked Ins recruiter platform required
  • Broad knowledge of sourcing techniques using contemporary recruiting and sourcing tools such as job boards, social media, resume databases and search engines to identify active and passive candidates.
  • Thrives in a fast paced, ever changing environment.
  • Knowledge of Federal & State laws pertaining to HR
  • Strong communication skills
  • Hospitality experience strongly desired
  • Ability to multitask in demanding environment
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Calendar Management, PowerPoint and SharePoint required

The Talent Acquisition Specialist may from time to time be asked to perform other detailed functions that have not been addressed here that are reasonable and within the scope of his/her job.
