Role -Systems Engineering Senior Location -Taylor, MI United States Remote position due to covid - 19 Position - This position will be responsible for operating and supporting core API Platform components including API gateways, edge routing solutions and security tools that support millions of calls a day for users across the globe. Position Duties . Operate and maintain a global API Gateway (Azure API Manager - APIM) . Support monitoring and troubleshooting of core API platform infrastructure components and software tools . Work directly with Ford product teams to perform API gateway analysis and configuration changes in multiple development environments . Design and implement APIs policies at the gateway to support product team requirements . Use insights and evidence from data to resolve incident and problem tickets involving cloud native microservices . Collect, analyze and report key API metrics to provide visibility into the Ford.s API ecosystem and portfolio . Support the operation, monitoring and configuration of edge routing solutions .
