The Channel Partner & System Integrator Account Executive role is essential to the success of the Smartsheet Aligned program. You will use your knowledge of the software application ecosystem and Smartsheet resources to recruit and manage a portfolio of mid-tier Channel Partners (OEMs, ISVs, resellers) along with SIs and Global SIs. You will recruit partners by using your network from experience, while also surveying the partner landscape for partners fitting our ideal Channel & SI partner profile. Additionally, you will engage with your assigned, current Smartsheet SI partners on the tactical level to deepen the impact and relationship between the two organizations. Our current and prospect partner landscape includes many different Channel Partners and Global, Mid-tier, and vertical industry SIs. You will report to our Senior Director of Channel Sales & Partnerships. You will: Recruit and Onboard new SI partners for Smartsheet in North America, and potentially abroad. Develop mutual plans with Channel Partners & SIs to increase the number of customer referrals of Smartsheet products from assigned SI partners. Understand the Partners' practice areas, organization, products, and services. Position Smartsheet for success with the highest potential practice areas inside the Partner and SI. Creatively target new SI practice areas, which may include Smartsheet integration with a suite of products. Use Smartsheet technical resources to increase awareness inside assigned SIs of the entire Smartsheet product portfolio. Use the Smartsheet Aligned partner program and the resources within the partner team; jointly determine strategy and methods to ensure success across the entire assigned market segment. Partner with Marketing to create strategies and awareness to accelerate Smartsheet in the Channel & SI Partner segment. Partner with the direct sales teams to maximize SI partner opportunities by hosting account mapping sessions that allow Smartsheet sales to work with SIs for account growth. Perform other responsibilities as assigned. You have: Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience. 5+ years of experience with SIs developing technology-based alliances. Preferably with cloud-based SaaS applications. Preference for experience with challenger brands. Experience with a services led value proposition, where the core economic value proposition for a Partner or SI to expand the services offering of a current or future practice area with a software-based offering. Experience with Professional Services in IT environments: Essential players, deal size, scoping process, economics, statement of work, bench utilization, project management, etc. The ability to blend technology vision and strategy to deepen client relationships while aligning technology with goals. The ability to translate partner needs into a compelling business opportunity based on a software solution. Technical capability Expertise in Smartsheet or similar technologies The ability to travel up to 50% in the US & Canada.
