SVP of Finance & Accounting (REMOTE)

CornerStone has partnered with a National, privately owned, mortgage company in their search for an SVP of Finance & Accounting for their Mortgage Servicing division. The company has experienced exponential growth over the last year and is anticipating the onboarding of 40% more loans this year. As a direct report to the CFO, the SVP will provide direct supervision of a team of up to 12 persons in the finance and accounting realm in full cycle accounting and financial reporting. They will collaborate with managers over claims, investor reporting, secondary marketing, etc. We are seeking a candidate with aspirations for growth or promotional opportunities within in 3 to 5 years. Requirements of the SVP of Finance & Accounting:

• Bachelor or Master in Accounting or Finance or related field
• CPA highly desired
• 3-5 years of experience in mortgage servicing
• Familiarity with all intricacies of mortgage servicing accounting; MSR's, ancillary income, investor reporting, claims and client invoicing and billing
• Capital Markets and correspondent lending exposure a plus!
• Experience managing a team of accounting and finance personnel
• Remote management of team; key personnel located nationally
• Quarterly travel to headquarters will be required; currently during covid our team members aren't asked to fly or travel
• Ability to exude and lead by the core values of the company
• Criminal background and credit check will be conducted
