🚀 What is a Huddle Subject Mentor?

As a Subject Mentor, you’ll work closely with our Huddle Springbok teachers, dedicating 1-2 hours per week to:

Refining lessons – Ensuring clarity, engagement, and alignment with best teaching practices.

Providing expert feedback – Helping teachers improve lesson delivery and student comprehension.

Reviewing assessments – Making sure we assess the right skills in the right way.

Developing innovative teaching strategies – Finding better ways to explain complex concepts.

We are specifically recruiting for Afrikaans, English and EMS but open to applications for all subjects.

Requirements

You might be the perfect fit if:

✅ You have a deep love for your subject and bring energy and innovation to your teaching.

✅ You’re the go-to teacher in your school – the one colleagues turn to for advice and expertise.

✅ You’ve contributed to curriculum development or textbooks – shaping how your subject is taught.

✅ You’ve marked or set matric exam papers – and understand what it takes to succeed.

✅ You’ve created learning resources (videos, study guides, etc.) to enhance student learning.

✅ You’ve been recognized for your teaching excellence – awards, leadership roles, or mentorship.

✅ You’re ready to amplify your impact beyond your own classroom and influence education at scale.
