LastPass is looking for a Staff FullStack (Product Led Growth) Engineer

As a Staff FullStack (Product Led Growth) Engineer, you’ll collaborate with a cross-functional Agile development team to shape a product that serves over 5 million active users. You'll design and implement features that enhance user experience, drive engagement, and support organic growth. You'll also lead experiments to rapidly prototype, test, and iterate on multiple product versions—identifying the optimal configuration that delivers the most value to our users.

If you are passionate about complex problem solving and motivated by scale, then this is the role for you!

Who will you work with?

You'll work alongside a team of highly skilled and motivated professionals, collaborating closely with Product Management to help drive the implementation of LastPass’ Product-Led Growth strategy. This role offers frequent opportunities to partner with cross-functional subject matter experts and leadership, all focused on delivering impactful, data-driven outcomes.

What are some of the exciting challenges you will be working on?

  • Develop software APIs and integrate SDKs into the existing codebase
  • Operate various SaaS applications used within the product to engage users and collect data
  • Assist in setting up and running A/B tests to validate different product versions and configurations
  • Integrate components of the product and marketing tech stack, including Customer Data Platforms and Data Lakes
  • Manage the operations, maintenance, and lifecycle of systems, applications, and technology stacks

What does it take to work at LastPass?

  • Proficiency in web technologies, environments, and tools essential for developing modern software systems
  • Hands-on experience with web development using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript or TypeScript
  • Backend development experience, particularly with PHP for building web applications
  • Experience in developing software APIs and integrating SDKs into existing codebases
  • Strong understanding of secure coding practices and experience in building highly secure applications
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to navigate and thrive in complex technical environments
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work effectively alongside engineers and cross-functional teams
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly across all levels of the organization
  • A proactive, team-oriented attitude with a commitment to continuous learning and improvement

It's great, but not required:

  • Solid experience in implementing unit tests, debugging, and integrating complex codebases
  • Hands-on experience with public cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure
  • Proficient in version control, CI/CD, and issue tracking tools, including GitLab, GitLab CI/CD, and Jira
  • Familiarity with SaaS web applications such as Pendo, Segment, LaunchDarkly, SendGrid, or Amplitude
  • Proficiency in backend development using additional programming languages such as C#, or similar
