This mission-oriented health - tech company is based out of Boston MA. This growing company has developed a software to help hospitals run more efficiently and are consistently winning awards for their product as well as company culture!


The Duties and Responsibilities of the Staff Data Scientist includes but are not limited to

  • Design machine learning models from R&D through deployment
  • Manage predictive models and other data analysis techniques through the development process
  • Expand the company's software by making impactful and actionable insights, identifying opportunities, developing research products and advance data science across the business
  • Oversee validation of predictive model accuracy
  • Help train, develop and mentor junior colleagues
  • Collaborate and communicate with business leaders, discussing relevant trends and new business opportunities


The ideal Staff Data Scientist has:

  • 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist, developing statistical and machine learning models
  • Advanced degree in a quantitative field or equivalent work experience
  • Experience with performing the fill like cycle of machine learning models - from data engineering and feature development through the production environment
  • Expertise in Python and Python toolbelt (including Jupyter Notebooks, Pandas, NumPy) and SQL
  • Proven experience leading and managing multiple projects

It would be a plus if the candidate had:

  • Familiarity healthcare data systems
  • Experience with continuous integration systems
