We are seeking a Sr. Technical Security Program Manager to join our Splunk Global Security (SGS) team. In this role you will provide operational support in the execution of Splunk's Cyber Risk Management and Security Governance functions. The key to your success lies in influencing key partners to mitigate risk in a timely manner and ensure management is aware of residual risk via real-time self-service dashboards. In addition you will play a meaningful role in providing the data vital to influence cyber security strategy and investments.ResponsibilitiesLead the development, implementation and ongoing maintenance of the cyber risk management and security governance engagement modelFacilitate and drive the rollout and implementation of Security Standards and Splunk's Common Controls Framework (CCF)Develop program roadmaps (projects/assessments/reporting) in accordance with SGS priorities and overall security strategyApply strong program management expertise to ensure cyber security gaps are supervised across all SGS teams and influence risk/control owners and operators across Splunk to mitigate risk in accordance with SLA'sCollaborate closely with SGS TPM's, IT PMO and Splunk Technology organizations to remove blockers that prevent the timely remediation of riskEnsure program work is adequately reflected in risk mitigation plans and landmarks on an individual risk levelOwn the extension and reporting process, partnering with the risk owners and Security Governance to ensure security gaps which may extend beyond the established SLA follow Splunk's security exception/extension processProgram manage the Security Policy Program to ensure key milestones are met and the policy management requirements are maintainedDevelop and maintain metrics that communicate the health of the service, including capacity planning of Cyber Risk resources vital to meet OKR commitmentsPartner with the Splunk compliance team to understand upcoming assessment requirements for annual certifications and provide evidence to auditors that demonstrate efficacy of security controlsPursue operational strategies to mature and scale the cyber risk and security governance programs and improve Splunk's overall security postureRequirements 8+ years of experience in technology, cyber security, and/or cyber risk program management with a B.A./B.S. Degree;Expertise in automating and scaling process, preferably risk management processesFamiliarity with security concepts and cybersecurity program managementExperience in building, implementing and maintaining engagement models and rolling out controls and policiesProven experience with the development of metrics and helping leadership understand the value of the service offering through metricsExcellent verbal and written communication skillsYou are eligible to work in the United States without company sponsorshipWe value diversity at our company.
