For more information about Kohler Power, please visit FUNCTIONThe Sr. Systems Architect - Clean Energy will be part of a talented team of engineers/developers/data scientists devoted to creating & maintaining world class software applications connecting/monitoring standby generators and clean energy systems.SPECIFIC RESPONSIBILITIESDefine and own end-to-end Architecture of web development projects from definition to go-live phase (ensure said Architecture is in compliance with Kohler standards as defined the by EAO) Provide solution architecture and design, perform gap analysis between business requirements and platform features Maintain technical knowledge of Web CMS, customizations, and 3rd Party Integrations Define non-functional requirements and development processes, platform and tools usage for solution delivery Review and audit of architecture, design and solution delivery Create technical documentation that include data mappings, definition of systems of record Support new product development team Ensure that proposed solutions are aligned with Kohler Co. standards Stay up to date on emerging technologies/solution trends and contributes to IT digital strategy development Continuously act as a thought leader on emerging technologies and their application to the digital product roadmapSkills/RequirementsFour-year degree in Computer Science or other related field 5+ years of architecture design and definitive experience in advanced web development Experience with cloud platforms preferably Azure Deep understanding of Mobile technologies/frameworks Deep understanding of Systems integration concepts - Web Service (REST, SOAP), Batch, EDI, sFTP, API Gateways OMS and SAP integration experience is a definite plus Experience with architecting in the cloud and hybrid environments Thorough understanding of HTML5, CSS and modern JavaScript frameworks Microsoft Office applications - Office Suite (Project, PowerPoint, Excel, Word), Visio and ProjectApplicants must be authorized to work in the US without requiring sponsorship now or in the future.Why Work at Kohler Co.?Kohler Co.'s mission is to contribute to a higher level of gracious living for those who are touched by our products and services.
