We're looking for a Senior Analyst to join our dynamic, fast-paced team focused on our disruptive oral care product portfolio. In this role, you will be responsible for mining multiple sources of data and deriving clear, actionable insights that will empower the team to take action and win with retailers and consumers. This role will lead business reporting and insight generation across the full retail landscape and relevant oral care categories and will assist with implementing key initiatives with retail partners. This Senior Analyst will be a critical member of the Retail team and the primary driver of delivering insights that will educate and influence key business decision-making with our Customer and Brand teams.

Responsibilities:
Analytics Leader

Develop new tools and reports to enable the team to review business results and drive key insights with internal and external customers.

Maintain KPI reports/dashboards for retailer and ecommerce businesses that communicate key trends and highlight opportunities for growth and operational improvements.

Analyze promotional effectiveness and ROI and make recommendations to optimize.

Tell stories through actionable insights and key business recommendations.

Continuously innovate reporting systems and adjust based on leadership reporting needs.

Help build out and own our analytics tool, Looker. Have a passion for data in order to deliver a competitive advantage for SmileDirectClub

Multi-Functional Engagement

Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, Brand, & Operations teams to understand their challenges and provide analytical support to help drive decision making at key accounts.

Deliver a strong understanding of the business with a combination of system knowledge, analytics and business expertise. You'll provide the most appropriate data and information for the audience. You have the agility to tailor your approach based on the insights needed for each function.

As the business insights expert, you make the team aware of issues or concerns that are impacting the business significantly and collaborate to address.

Wide range of business acumen when delivering analytic insights across customer, consumer, share, market, ecommerce, & digital performance.

Communicate Insights Effectively

You have strong communication skills when presenting data and you're ambitious about finding solutions to complex problems.

Ability to take large data sources and put together a simplified a bulleted summary of the key takeaways.

Identify missing reports or programs and take initiative by putting together an action plan to help solve the issue.

Ability to create a one pager with the most important information pulled from large amounts of data.

Qualifications:
A Bachelor's in business, economics, accounting, or a similar quantitative business degree.

4+ years demonstrated successful experience in analytical roles in statistical analysis, business analysis, data analysis, data reporting.

Very strong Excel skills - comfortable with advanced functions, pivot tables. Experience with Power BI and/or Looker preferred.

Strong competency in syndicated data; preferred experience with Nielsen/IRI. Experience with Retail Link, 84.51, or retail databases a plus.

Strong understanding of retail landscape and CPG experience is preferred.

Experience leading quantitative and qualitative analysis with techniques to solve defined business problems and ability to turn data into insights and stories.

Self-motivated, strong social skills, agile, and work wells in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.

Ability to multi-task and prioritize workload as customer and internal demands shift; detail and deadline oriented.

Passion about discovering new things and ability to learn quickly; naturally curious and seeks out answers by diving deep into the data.

An excellent communicator who loves to share findings and actionable insights.
