About the Role:

Help us protect CrowdStrike and its customers from the world's most advanced threats by designing, implementing and supporting identity, access and cryptography systems. CrowdStrike's Product Security team breaks the mold of traditional product security and focuses on active threats to CrowdStrike's products. As a Product Security Engineer, you will perform technical security assessments of current and new systems, monitor for emerging vulnerabilities, create tooling for known gaps, and deploy large-scale security/monitoring systems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Automate IAM least-privilege & Crypto operations in multi-tenant environments.
  • Be a champion for certificate management, code signing & overall cryptography posture
  • Define & drive crypto roadmap in conjunction with engineering & security leaders


What You'll Need:
  • Experience working in an engineering role implementing and supporting security systems.
  • Experience working with Linux and/or other Unix-like variants.
  • Capability to script in common languages like shell, Python, Perl, Ruby, etc.
  • Domain knowledge of TCP/IP, cryptography, IAM and systems hardening.
  • Experience working in large-scale cloud platforms with highly concurrent systems.
  • Self-motivated to identify security problems and engage with teams to find solutions.
  • Efficient communicator with strong writing skills, experience working remotely.
  • Familiarity with TLS best practices, ciphers, public key infrastructure implementations.Education/Certifications
