**Sr. Product Marketing Manager, Physical Failure Analysis (PFA) - Semiconductor Business Unit - Dual Beam Products (FIB/SEM) for Fab Solutions**

**Location/Division Specific Information**

The Semiconductor Business Unit provides solutions for customers in pathfinding, yield learning, and failure analysis of semiconductor processes and manufacturing. As a member of this team you will work with companies on the leading edge of semiconductor innovation as they develop and characterize the processes that will lead to the technologies of tomorrow. You will collaborate closely with customers and other internal Thermo Fisher groups, such as sales, finance, and R&D, to drive revenue and develop roadmaps for future products.

Location: Remote US with travel to Fremont, CA and Hillsboro, OR

**How will you make an impact?**

The Product Marketing Manager for PFA in the Semiconductor business unit is responsible for driving revenue and profitability of Dual Beam products. They will use an intimate knowledge of customer use cases to deliver impactful solutions and develop uniquely differentiated product offerings.

**What will you do?**

+ Provides leadership and direction to ensure that overall marketing function is effectively meeting the organization's strategic goals for a segment/ functional area

+ Owns the input & development of market requirements within a segment/functional area of specific products, including product strategy definition, requirement analysis, technology product roadmaps and pricing.

+ Accountable for activities of a segment/functional area and leads effective marketing and cross-functional teams

+ Directs the development of segment/functional business plans, assesses market penetration and product positioning to drive competitive advantage, revenue and market share.

+ Recommends to Business Line Owner how to most effectively deploy resources to achieve business goals for a segment/ functional area

+ Provides and understands the competitive analysis of specific products or product lines. Monitors market research, competitive activity and identifies/evaluates customer needs; assess competitive advantages and recommends techniques and product enhancements to increase market penetration.

+ Demonstrates expert understanding of pricing strategies to build and protect a leadership position in market share while enhancing profit margins and developing marketing tools for successful product introductions.

+ Drives effective interface with engineering, manufacturing and sales to develop new products and enhance existing products as well as communicate critical market needs and time requirements.

+ Complete Product Life Cycle Ownership, resulting in being held accountable for delivering products that meet or exceed market requirements on time.

+ Travel as needed to visit with customers and other Thermo Fisher sites.

+ Reporting to the Director of Business Line Owner.

**How will you get here?**


+ Master's degree required or higher on Physics, Materials science, Chemical Engineering, Chemistry or related studies


+ Minimum 5+ years' experience on semiconductors manufacturing or semiconductors capital equipment, with demonstrated customer engagement experience

+ Minimum 5+ experience in product marketing and business development

**Knowledge, Skills, Abilities**

+ Technical knowledge: Focused Ion Beam, Scanning Electron Microscopy and Transmission Electron Microscopy.

+ Demonstrated ability to drive cross-functional teams

+ Excellent written and verbal communications

+ Willing to travel ~30% to customer sites
