The sr. product manager will be responsible for the portfolio transformation of all existing and future products by leading a framework, analytics and lead the development of new approaches to create a world class portfolio management process for High Needs, coordinating actionable plans in monthly, quarterly and corporate cycle portfolio management reviews with intent to grow revenue and improve margin, ensure accurate reporting against plans, business cases, milestones, and forecasts on a project, as needed and systemically on a monthly and quarterly basis, consistent with transformation plans, leverage performance metrics to influence roadmaps as the basis of resource allocation and alignment across the entire business to measurably improve portfolio and developing analytics and mechanisms to assess new product and other major program investment options at the portfolio level, comparing effectiveness in the utilization of funding, relative return on investment, overall strategic intent, and balance across the Platforms to deliver a holistic High Needs level assessment.

Demonstrated business acumen, customer focus, and a strong track record of leading matrixed teams having successfully is essential to the success of this position. The sr. product manager is also expected to have expert knowledge of the women and family healthcare landscape, commercialization of products, and familiarity with the clinical and technical aspects of product development. This position reports directly to the VP, Portfolio Transformation, and is a key leadership role within the business.

You'll enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* from anywhere within the U.S., preferably in Minneapolis, MN as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Portfolio Transformation of High Needs portfolio of products
  • Ensure growth, profitability and delivering best in class products of a suite of products ~600M in revenue
  • Be the voice of High Needs offerings with stakeholders, peers and senior leaders
  • Develop and maintain long-term product plans for the portfolio including comprehensive product roadmaps supported by robust business rationales
  • Ensure that products meet established long-range goals
  • Responsible for specific product results (P&L, ROI, NPS, Affordability)
  • Work across Operational, Clinical, Technology, Growth, Finance and Go-to-Market organizations in support of product and services
  • Responsible for interoperability with adjacent products to ensure a comprehensive consumer experience
  • Work with the business to build and maintain forecasts, monitoring product delivery and quality issues, examining the competitive landscape, interacting with and influencing key opinion leaders, and providing support to the client services team as needed
  • Partner with other senior product and non-product leaders to identify business opportunities that will a) improve product offering and b) set the vision and growth strategy
  • Cultivate relationships with key external opinion leaders and strategic partners to support revenue and margin objectives
  • Stay abreast of all core projects and status; includes proactive management of project funding and other key resources, as well as proactive risk management and identification of cross-project synergies, opportunities and efficiencies
  • Build a product culture which understands the importance of rapid testing and learning

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
  • 6+ years of experience in healthcare industry in product development
  • 5+ years of lifecycle product management or P&L management experience

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $94,500 to $171,700.
