Job Description

ERP International is seeking a WebMethods Subject Matter Expert to support our CMS customer in Baltimore, MD for tying systems to one another and developing robust websites to assist with System Census and other endeavors. The SME will be responsible for creating maintainable, adaptable, scalable, defect-free code using software development best practices and coding standards (i.e., software reuse, refactoring, continuous integration, test automation, secure development, test-driven development, static code analysis, peercode review inherent with technology change. Will also be responsible for designing and developing integration solutions using WebMethods product suite and Enterprise APIs. The SME should have extensive experience in developing and maintaining high-performing Java applications as well. Work location will be a mix of Laurel, MD, or remote work. Candidates must be open to travel to Baltimore, MD client site when necessary. Actively hiring in the wake of COVID-19. The selected candidate will start working remotely until workforce reentry. Duties and Responsibilities include the following Analyze existing API services for their suitability for modification into an enterprise version. Based on product road maps, prioritize API services needed. Provide the development of Application Programming Interface (API) components to support agency application development. Build and test Enterprise APIs. Support unit and integration testing of applications, including accessibility and compliance with Section 508, browser compatibility. Provide advanced technical support with the development and implementation of (API) components that enables projects to build and reuse code. Provide technical support in the adoption of API standards and governance. Support the agency API standards and governance. Provide technical writing support in the development and communications of API standards and governance. Minimum Requirements Bachelorrsquos degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Management Sciences, or related field or equivalent experience Experience Software AG webMethods (2 years) Spring Boot API (2-3 years) Experience in API design API development. - Minimum 4 years Good understanding knowledge of API security - Minimum 4 years Able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance Preferred Qualifications Experience with Postman platform Knowledge of Software AG Alfabet tool Knowledge of Software AG ARIS tool Experience with the implementation of Section 508 standards for Web Applications Exposure to writing Technical White Papers and systems design documents Knowledge of HTTPS, TCP, DNS, web application load balancing Passion for programming and a good conceptual understanding of the operating environment - JVM, Operating System, File Systems, Network Protocols. Working experience in Agile development methodology.
