Manage a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a Senior Director in the product development division, you will lead a team that defines product specifications and or strategy. Gather and analyze information to define product specifications and review design specifications. Envision and communicate product strategy and functionality. Initiate and foster relationships with other groups. Review product documentation and collateral. Ensure successful product releases based on corporate priorities.

Directs and ensures the implementation of operational policies through subordinate managers. Interacts internally and externally with executive management, providing negotiation of difficult matters to influence policy. Functional expertise and broad company knowledge important. Demonstrated leadership and people management skills. Strong communication skills, analytical skills, thorough understanding of product development and product management. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 8 or more years of software engineering or related experience preferred.

We are looking for an experienced, energetic, and empathetic Product Leader who will own and drive the Conversational AI and multimodal user experiences for the Oracle Digital Assistant platform.

Your Responsibilities:

+ Define product strategy and roadmap to deliver products that customers love and achieve expected business outcomes

+ Lead, learn, grow, and be challenged. Speak up and represent your team amongst peers and leadership while remaining resilient and open to constructive criticism.

+ Lead your team to dive deep into key Conversational AI initiatives for understanding the business context, brainstorming with cross-functional teams, prioritizing the correct problems to solve and deliver product differentiations.

+ Partner with fellow product managers to review features to ensure a holistic experience in the end service.

+ Partner with fellow UX managers to review findings from customer validation and articulate learning that inform product decisions.

+ Work with a diverse team globally with a geographically dispersed team in various time zones.

+ Analyze product performance metrics, synthesize learnings, iterate with Engineering and ensure adoption, compliance, and risk expectations are met

+ Be a hands-on PM who obsesses over product quality and creates compelling product demos

+ Guide creation of sales and technical content and collaborate with go-to-market teams to support execution of demand-gen campaigns

+ Lead product suite planning exercises; ensure plans incorporate customer research, usability studies and market analysis

+ Thoroughly understand competitive developments in Conversational AI and their trajectory. Establish and articulate differentiation with respect to competitors

+ Focus on customer development, identify lead customers, track customer feedback, and validate hypotheses through design partnerships.

+ Possess strong communication skills. Articulate and present product at all levels internally and externally from developer to CxOs

+ Drive Conversational AI efforts across internal product teams and partner teams to create best-in-class digital assistants.

Your Qualifications:

+ 10+ years of relevant professional experience in product management

+ Experience driving multimodal Conversational AI experiences in various devices and form factors.

+ Thorough understanding of how dialog design and channel richness can be used for effective UX

+ Keen sense of how to establish user trust and deliver user delight in various employee-facing and consumer-facing experiences

+ Excellent writing, presentation, and analytical skills, including initiative proposals, strategy presentations, functional solution approach, user stories, and test cases

+ Outstanding communication with VP-level executives to convey technical concepts with simplicity and clarity

Preferred Qualifications:

+ A minimum of a bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Engineering or a related field

+ Experience with NLU/NLP and ML-driven interaction patterns

+ Experience driving developer onboarding and adoption through freemium SaaS/PaaS platforms

+ Solid understanding of intelligent user assistance and contextual help

+ Demonstrated soft leadership in driving multiple internal product teams towards a shared product vision
