About This Opportunity:

As the AMER Partner Sales leader, you will lead a team of Partners Sales & Development Managers in the AMER Geo who are responsible for driving business development strategy with HashiCorp System Integrators, Resellers and Cloud partners! This team leads all aspects of identifying, evaluating, and driving large-scale partnerships with the potential to have a significant impact on the overall direction of the company. Our ideal candidate has shown experience leading sophisticated partnerships, setting strategy, driving business and technical alignment, and collaborating with both internal and external executives. You will be tasked with leading our team of channel sales & development professionals as well as managing specialty partners that contribute both in revenue and customer success via implementation & adoption services in AMER!

In This Role You Can Expect To:

You will be responsible for the AMER organization's Partner Sales & Development Managers, objectives and initiatives while collaborating on short and long-term partner development strategies with the Global Partner Ecosystem/SE leaders. You will also collaborate with cross functional teams to elevate our partner sales and services strategy for AMER.

You will be responsible for developing strategic focus partner development goals and driving partner success against those goals for the AMER Geo. You will represent HashiCorp as the AMER Partner Sales leader for our joint business development planning process with partners that develop mutual performance objectives, targets, and critical milestones. You will lead all aspects of the budget and allocation for partner development funds along with the creation of strategic collaboration agreements (SCA) with AMER systems integrators.

You should possess both a business background that enables you to engage at the CxO level, as well as a sales/services background that allows you to easily engage with customers and partner sales/field/services leaders. You should also have a proven track record to think strategically about business, product, solutions and technical challenges, with the ability to build and convey compelling value propositions.

  • Worked at/with Systems Integrators for at least 10 years
  • Experience running a services line of business (LOB) or channel GTM
  • Ability to develop short and long term strategy for the LOB
  • Experience working with CSP (AWS, Microsoft, Google) services funding programs
  • 5+ years managing and leading a team
