Responsibilities:
Our Data Science team, in close collaboration with software developers and threat researchers, is building the next generation of Machine Learning based features for the Fidelis Elevate platform. You will be a leading contributor on our team located in Bethesda, MD.What Youll DoDrive new data-science based features through pilots, prototypes and PoCs.Build statistical and machine learning models to detect and assess malware and malicious and suspicious network activities.Support the implementation of data-science and ML-based product features.Consult with the development teams to drive the implementation of predictive models in our product.Stay up to date with cutting edge research and development in machine learning, particularly as it applies to cybersecurity.

Qualifications:
5+ years of relevant experience in Data Science.MS/PhD (preferred) in Statistics, Mathematics or other quantitative or analytics-based field.Excellent understanding of statistical modeling, machine learning algorithms, and robust statistics such as random forests, logistic regression, deep learning, robust multi-variate anomaly detection methods, random sampling and bootstrapping.Demonstrated experience with prototyping, testing, and implementing Data Science based features for customer facing products.Experience with Python based Data Science toolkits such as scikit-learn, numpy, and pandas.Applied statistical skills such as sampling and hypothesis testing.Bonus QualificationsSpecialization/research in Statistics or Machine Learning.Experience with programming in Python or Scala for Apache Spark.Experience with Apache Hadoop.Knowledge of network protocols and network security.Diversity is important to us:At the heart of our company is a diverse group of employees who rely on their intimate knowledge of customer requirements and a unique blend of skill and innovation to develop and deliver the best possible products and services.
