This position develops and analyzes reports and visualizations based on business requirements for a variety of audiences and analytical purposes. Ideal candidates will have prior experience working with healthcare datasets combined with strong experience in data analysis, query design, and reporting. Technology - Rush is an early adopter and highly invested in Epic applications. Position Responsibilities: Gather business & data requirements from stakeholders. Conducts data analysis in support of a variety of analytic solutions. Captures, develops, and documents data definitions, business rules, and data quality requirements. Create and produce forecasts, reports, ad hoc requests, dashboards, etc. Interprets data, analyzes results, and provides insights to determine operational impact, trends, and opportunities. Develops reports and deliverables for management and communicates with all levels of stakeholders. Identifies and defines both process and data improvements. Ensures compliance with deliverable reporting requirements by performing quality data audits and analysis. Produces reports and analytics that facilitate evidence-based clinical, financial, and operational decisions. Other duties as assigned. Position Requirements: Bachelor's degree in information science, computer science or related field. 5 years of data analysis, query design, and reporting experience. Experience with our reporting solutions i.e on Visualization tools (like Tableau, PowerBI etc) and SQL (like MS SQL Server, Oracle etc). Experience with reports, dashboards, scorecards in a data warehousing environment. Experience working in Healthcare or Healthcare datasets Demonstrated experience in requirements gathering and using relational databases. Ability to perform detailed data analysis (i.e. determine the structure, content, and quality of the data through examination of source systems and data samples). Good visual aesthetic sense relative to report development and presentation to the user. Excellent written and verbal communication, facilitation, and customer facing skills Must have a strong customer service orientation and excellent organizational skills. Experience developing sophisticated reports against complex data sets. Ability to read other's SQL queries and make changes/updates as necessary Experience diagnosing and resolving errors in complex reports. Experience with research and troubleshoot reporting and data issues.
