BRIEF POSITION SUMMARY:

The Senior Financial Analyst is responsible for supporting the Senior Director, FP&A in preparing financial and operational models and analyzes various scenarios.

DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:

* Develop detailed Financial Forecast, Budgets and Long-Range Plans for Consolidated Balance Sheet. Perform analysis to guide decision making of executive leadership and to ensure achievement of strategic objectives.
* Manage the forecast process through the creation of timelines, management of communications and alignment with Treasury department to ensure that the cash forecast is consistent with company's capital and investment framework targets.
* Work with business partners to set targets to manage working capital and drive ROIC.
* Conduct monthly business analyses and reviews with Senior Leadership to understand the drivers of variances to forecast, plan and prior year.
* Assist Finance & Accounting teams with month-end, quarter-end, and year-end reporting.
* Review forecast for depreciation
* Operating Cash forecasting
* Delivers analysis and insights that enhance decision making and create value for the organization
* Ensures processes are in place to execute deliverables consistently, timely, and accurately
* Identifies & implements appropriate KPIs to track business performance
* Ensures effective internal controls and compliance with MSC's accounting policies and procedures.
* Fosters the MSC Culture in the department and throughout the company to ensure unity of purpose and fulfillment of MSC's mission
* Participation in special projects and performs additional duties as required.

EDUCATION and EXPERIENCE:

* A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, business, or equivalent
* Minimum of four years of related experience required
* Proven track record of providing strong finance partnership

SKILLS:

* In depth knowledge of financial modeling, analysis, and forecasting is required
* Strong analytical and conceptual thinking skills
* Exposure to SAP a plus
* Experience with OneStream a plus
* Adept at data mining, report model development and being able to interpret and summarize data
* Strong attention to detail and high organization skills
* Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

* A valid driver's license and the ability to travel up to 5% is required.
