Description

The primary responsibility of this position is to partner with assigned clients to oversee all client deliverables, ensuring client objectives are met and projects are on time, within budget, and successfully executed. The AD serves as the main point of contact for clients of all levels within the organization, including commercial, medical affairs, compliance, and regulatory teams. The AD is responsible for identifying and developing opportunities within the current accounts and generating organic growth. 


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and maintain client relationships across multiple accounts
  • Ensure client satisfaction and identify opportunities for efficiencies
  • Oversee client deliverables, ensuring projects are on time, within budget, and successfully executed
  • Identify and develop opportunities within current accounts for organic growth
  • Mentor and coach direct reports


Core Areas:

Client Focus & Service:

  • Serve as main point of contact for clients
  • Attend client strategy and launch meetings
  • Provide clear direction to team and cross-functional departments
  • Oversee project implementation and provide frequent status updates
  • Ensure communication with clients is timely and accurate


Organic Growth/Business Development:

  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Develop proposals and budgets
  • Stay informed on industry trends

Team Leadership:

  • Lead and motivate team members
  • Provide mentorship and coaching
  • Define performance goals and deliver annual evaluations


Business Knowledge/Operational Practices:

  • Ensure understanding of company services and medical education guidelines
  • Participate in internal brainstorming sessions
  • Follow agency standard operating procedures


Financial Accountability:

  • Manage account budgets
  • Document changes in scope and obtain client approval
  • Communicate financial updates to finance team
Requirements
  • A minimum of 5 years agency experience, with a minimum of 2 years of progressive account management experience in Speakers Bureau
  •  Strong comfort level of verbal, written, and presentation skills 
  • Travel as business requires
  • Experience managing direct reports
  • Bachelor’s degree
