What You ll Do
The Sourcing Project Manager: Operations Resiliency Team (ORT) | M&A Through Integration is a role within Strategic Sourcing focused on managing and executing sourcing activities for all relevant transactions from due diligence through full integration. This role is responsible for defining, leading and monitoring projects to support business growth and integration, including but not limited to supplier capacity, supplier selection and on-boarding, RFI, dual sourcing, and pricing. It also includes the implementation of business best practice processes and compliance to relevant policies. Given the global nature of category initiatives, the project manager interacts with suppliers and cross functional colleagues across geographies and work cultures. You ll get to:
  • The central coordination point for sourcing related activities to support business growth and M&A activity
  • Develop and manage the activities within sourcing workstream, with guidance from the business, center led sourcing category owners, global operations, business development and the integration management office
  • Project scope includes, but not limited to spend, supply continuity, risk mitigation, make vs. buy
  • Manage non-sourcing projects such as tool implementation, process improvement where required.
  • Establish project governance, create project plans, milestones, capacity planning for sourcing, due diligence, and integration activities
  • Monitors project execution, identifies potential plan discrepancies, set targets and budget, handles effective resolution of any issues. Track team and project metrics with project status updates.
  • Critical focus on supply continuity and growth capacity for existing and incoming businesses (identify risks and mitigates risks in supply and value capture)
  • Deliver synergies within the acquired business by coordinating, planning, executing and tracking
  • Supports development and execution of integration project plans for sourcing EMA management tool
  • Supports and participates in the analysis process of due diligence
  • Culture assimilation for acquired business, including communications, training and development
  • Conduct category and spend analysis across all SBU and acquisition for opportunities, while taking into consideration footprint, vertical integration, end to end supply network for localization and de-risking.
  • Lead the supplier selection process through management of formal RFP, RFQ and RFI processes
  • Determine, oversee, and perform the negotiation and contract management of large-scale, enterprise-wide volume purchase agreements
  • Responsible for creation of TCO value to the organization through a combination of productivity, working capital, synergies, reduced risk, improved supplier lead times, etc.
  • Develop and foster strategic supplier relationships that deliver cost reduction, supply assurance, quality improvement and innovation
  • Implement strategic supplier management, supplier risk management, supplier diversity, and CSR programs (leveraging Global Supply Management s Center of Excellence)
  • Institutionalize best-practice processes and policies and knowledge sharing
  • Guarantee compliance with STRATEGIC SOURCING policies and procedures and DoA requirements
  • Drive all aspects of the Strategic Sourcing Balanced Scorecard

  • A Bachelor s degree is required. A MBA or Masters in Supply Chain is preferred.
  • Five years of experience in project management with large scale change projects
  • Functional experience in sourcing / procurement. Must have a balance of both strategic and operational capacities, including global sourcing, supplier management, commodity risk management, etc.
  • Successful track record of designing and implementing complex projects varying in scope
  • Experience in strategic planning, budgeting and financial reporting
  • Global mindset with experience working in an international/multi-cultural matrix environment (cross-functional and external)
  • Experience in Outdoor Products and Industry preferred
  • Execution Excellence: Planning & organizing, time management, process orientation, process adherence
  • Analytical thinking and problem solving
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to listen, engage and influence internal and external stakeholders. Influencing without direct authority
  • Strong skills in MS Excel, PowerPoint, Power BI and Project Management
  • Strong financial and analytical skills
  • Ability to conceive strategic program initiatives, plan them, sell ideas and execute.
  • Highly self-motivated with the ability to drive change in a global organization with minimum supervision
  • CPIM certification would be benefit in this role
  • Six Sigma or Lean/Kaizen certification would be a benefit in this role
