The Solution Engineer is responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in A2mac1`s technology infrastructure, and to remove all technical objections in the sales cycle.

TASKS & RESPONSABILITIES

What is a Solution Engineer?

Also known as a " Pre -Sales Engineer" or "Sales Consultant," the Solution Engineer is responsible for presenting product offerings and architecture in the best light to prospects and customers, to evoke confidence in A2mac1`s technology infrastructure, and to remove all technical objections in the sales cycle. To accomplish this, the Solution Engineer must have a strong desire to leverage their technical and/or sales skills, including the ability to solicit business requirements, develop a technical sales strategy, configure and effectively demonstrate the solutions that address these requirements and provide business value.

(Senior) Solution Engineer – Cost & Sustainability Solution

The Cost & Sustainability Solution Engineer is responsible for presenting our BrandNew and innovative Cost & Sustainability SaaS Solution to prospects and customers based on a customer's specific business requirements. The primary goal is to demonstrate the differentiated value of our Solution, how can we help to improve Cost and at the same time achieve Customers Sustainability goals? You work towards becoming a trusted advisor and highlight how our products will provide a return on their investment.

You'll analyze the needs and requirements through deep discovery, use your experience to recommend a solution, discuss industry best practices to improve their business processes, achieve better business outcomes, and ultimately make the customer confident that a partnership with A2mac1 is right for their business.

  • Evangelize the value of Cost & Sustainability Solution to customers (including C- ­level execs, Engineering, Purchasing and Product Management)
  • Assess business process and operations impacted by technology
  • Deliver findings including key pain points, proposed solutions to meet business needs, and ROI
  • Contribute to development of technical sales strategy
  • Configure and demonstrate visionary solutions in a way that closely reflects each customer's business (tailored demonstrations)
  • Discuss and propose solution architecture supporting End to End Business processes
  • Execute enablement activities (Webinars, Best Practices, Knowledge Share, etc.)
  • Collaborate with Sales teams, Customer Engagement Managers and Product Management to deliver the appropriate solution and establish credibility and trust with the customer.

KEY MEASURES & INDICATORS

  • Number of customer engagements and customized demos delivered
  • Regional Sales quota achievement


Requirements

PROFILE REQUIRED

  • 10 years+ Professional Experience
  • excellent demo & presentation skills, good listener, problem solver
  • Solution Mindset rather than problem mindset
  • Experience with Pre Sales, SaaS and/or Automotive Industry
  • Knowledge of related applications, SaaS and web technology
  • Basic programming experience in HTML and other web based technologies is an advantage. Workflow / BPM / integration experience
  • Experience with one or more of the following solutions: PLM, CAD, Back­-office / ERP systems
  • Some domestic travel is required
