Presented with a business challenge, a group of disparate software platforms needing to somehow communicate, or making sense of a loose pitch to our team to build a new piece of software, you'll be the one who will clearly output the facts in a way that the stakeholders can all understand. You'll work hand-in-hand with the leader of the Special Projects Team on a daily basis. While a majority of the focus will be on eXp Realty, a position on the Special Projects Team affords some opportunities to be involved with the other companies in the family, like SUCCESS Magazine and VirBELA. Major Duties & ResponsibilitiesLeverage your history to make sense of the loosely communicated requirements of the challenge to help form the basis of solutions ranging from 3rd party software, clever integrations or even a custom application build.Coordinate closely with business units across the organization to understand various special situations that require one-off solutions to either solve an issue or capitalize on a new opportunity. Research and understand capabilities in various 3rd party and in-house software platforms to gauge opportunities for integration to solve a current problem. Attend certain regular meetings to discover opportunities to proactively suggest improvement though new technologies.Make direct contributions to product/feature roadmaps for our various existing software platforms. Work closely with the team leader and other tech leadership at eXp during high-level brainstorming summits and sessions.
