We are helping to rethink how we use data to fulfill the needs of our customers (both internal and external). As a Sr. MDM Solution Architect, you will have an opportunity to be a part of implementing the enterprise-wide MDM architecture solution, processes, procedures, and guidelines for the company. This position requires significant amount of collaboration across all business areas within Compass NA and will be essential to building out an enterprise-wide sustainable MDM program. The Sr. Solution Architect- MDM is a technical/functional role in data management and governance, with responsibility for ensuring that data policies and standards turn into practice within the Solution Architect's domain. This role designs, develops, implements, and supports MDM data models, workflows, UI components and the overall MDM framework for the Enterprise. We are currently looking for a Solutions Architect with hands-on leadership experience in designing and implementing a Master Data Management solution. If you have at least 10 years of relevant professional work experience and exceptional technical implementation skills, this is the opportunity for you. Job Responsibilities + Lead project team members through all activities required to successfully deliver a MDM solution using best practices + Lead requirements gathering workshops + Work closely with business analysts to develop to-be business process based on industry standard and best practices + Lead high-level design workshops + Draft detailed design documents + Define technical specifications for workflows and business rules + Prepare detailed design documents for data migration + Configure, build and unit test MDM components, including data structures, roles, workflows, and portals + Experience in Java technologies, Web technologies - Javascript, CSS, HTML, XML, JSON, XSLT, Extension API etc + Good knowledge of MDM ingestion/publication mechanism( Real Time, Batch) + Build and unit test data migration components + Build, test and support integration, system testing + Support and guide user acceptance testing + Train and mentor colleagues in MDM implementation activities and best practices + Duties as assigned Job Qualifications + MDM/PIM implementation experience plus 10+ years of relevant professional work experience + Stibo Step MDM implementation experience will be an added advantage + Domain experience in Product Match/Link and Golden record creation + Expert in agile and waterfall project management methodologies + Proficient in estimating work and project scheduling/sprint planning + Excellent interpersonal, communication and team-facilitation skills + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Strong experience in Match/Merge or Match/Link processes + Expert technical skills in software development (Java and/or JavaScript), data and database design, SQL, XML, CSS, HTML, JSON, XSLT, extension API and Web services + Understanding of Middleware technologies would be an added advantage + Understanding of data integration with SAP ECC or S4 platforms and AWS architecture (SQS queues, S3 Buckets + Experience in implementation of a DAM will be an added advantage + Good knowledge of ingestion/publication mechanisms, Integration end points (Real Time, Batch) + At least 5 years of working experience in the J2EE architecture (servlets, EJB) framework. + At least 5 years of working experience in the Java web service (SOAP/RESTful). + Working experience in Data Stewardship, Data governance + Bachelor's degree in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or related major The ideal candidate is located in Charlotte, NC or within a reasonable commuting distance.
