Keep reading.This position is available for Remote Candidates across the United States.ABOUT THE POSITION: A Solution Architect for our Salesforce Emerging Services Practice is a strategic position to our customers. This role is heavily involved in solution design and is hands-on with build work on cutting edge technology available from Salesforce. Solution Architects are experienced consultants and are depended on by our customers for technical vision and proactive and strategic advice.RESPONSIBILITIES: Work as part of an overall delivery team to deliver a legendary customer experience on Salesforce solutions Be comfortable learning new technologies with different levels of support / enablement. Emerging Services team members will be learning tools often at the same time as they are implementing, consulting, and teaching others. Lead consultative engagements with customers on business goals and challenges. Architect a detailed solution tailored to customers' goals, taking into account their current and future-state environment. Effectively communicate and present the design, positive impacts, and limitations of proposed solutions to customers. Approach each customer as unique, ensuring that their environment, skill set, internal processes, and business structure are accounted for in overall designs. Build and fully test the solutions as designed, working with customers to iterate through modifications and revisions. Document design and/or maintenance processes as necessary. Provide in-depth training as appropriate to ensure customers are self-sustaining. Collaborate with other team members to validate solutions, solve technical challenges, and share knowledge. OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES: Average of 15% travel, up to 25%, to client locations throughout the U.S. Perform other duties required and assigned. EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE: Ability to quickly learn new technologies and jump in to lead. A Solution Architect must know how and/or where to find information by being highly resourceful. They should be on the front line of learning so they can assist and teach others. Experience going deep into clients' current processes to fully understand the nature of their business, while identifying how and why their business goals are critical. Experience developing technical solutions and designs tailored to each client, based on their business goals and overall structure. Solid abilities to create technical solutions across a majority of applicable languages (such as SQL, HTML, CSS, Javascript, AMPScript, Apex, etc) Experience designing and delivering a training program tailored to clients' needs. Training should be appropriate for individuals at varying levels within a client's organization and with varying degrees of technical abilities. Ability to monitor release notes, incorporate platform changes into existing processes, and identify ways to use new Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud features. Experience mentoring individuals in an equal or lesser role. Comfort with engagements of almost any size. Ability to coordinate with other Solution Architects to effectively offload or load balance work. KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES: Excellent strategic and technical thinking. Ability to be a confident and strong consultant even when there is a lack of knowledge or clarity around a given subject. Ability to be very flexible. Solution Architects need to know when to experiment with new methods and how to turn experiments into scalable processes. Ability to keep a balance between scaled solutions without over-engineering. Ability to work effectively across multiple concurrent customer engagements with minimal supervision. Effective written and verbal communication skills. Ability to lead customer-facing discussions and presentations. Strong creative, conceptual, and problem-solving skills. Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
