We know that when our people are rewarded, recognized, and rejuvenated, we win as a team.Role OverviewThe Secureworks Software Engineer - Sandboxwill provide a key service to our ability to support our Partners building on and learning our CyberSecurity Platform by building and improving our "CyberSecurity Platform Sandbox Tenant" capability. Success is the seamless ability for our Partners to be provisioned an enriched sandbox experience that not only leverages the SAAS platform but also includes scripting, playbacks, and tool sets for success! The Lead will also provide this service to internal teams & users involved in building and delivering this service.The role includes responsibility for managing the sandbox process and reporting on the load and consumption of the services. The Lead will collaborate with the Partner and Engineering teams to ensure consistent and satisfied expectations across multiple consumers of the sandbox service. The role will be responsible for helping to design, build, implement, and document sandbox processes and procedures.Role ResponsibilitiesConfigure & deploy Secureworks SAAS based solution "Sandbox Tenants" for Secureworks Partners, Clients, and internal users / teamsImplementation of new Use Cases in the Sandbox "templates", scripts, and tool kits; works with a cross-functional team to collaborate on these use casesTrack the current status of "Sandbox Tenants" and operational statistics for reportingAnalyze and identify areas of improvement with "Sandbox Tenant" management and related operations processes, procedures, and documentationDevelopment of "Sandbox" setup and configuration scripts, playbacks, and tools to support optimizing the setup, breakdown, configuration, and use-case alignment of "Sandbox" to specific usesCollaborate with Product Engineering on new "Sandbox" capabilities and configuration optionsCollaborate with the Channel Partner team on tuning Partner requirements for "Sandbox" configurations, scripts, and toolsUnderstand the current CyberSecurity Platform application infrastructureDefine and document best practices and strategies regarding "Sandbox Tenant" application deployment and maintenanceDefine the "Sandbox Tenant" capacity planning approach and limitationsTroubleshoot distributed systemsInteract with other Secureworks departments (e.g. Incident Response, Pen Testing, etc.) to create play back scripts that simulate attack scenarios that help train partners and customers on defense in the CyberSecurity Platform solutionWork effectively in a fast-paced and constantly changing environmentRequirementsMinimum of 2 years Python Scripting experienceMinimum of 2 years Sandbox Administration experienceMinimum of 2 years DevOps experience on AWS hosting platformAWS Certification requiredMinimum of 2 years of TCP/IP networking experience and network security protocols (e.g. syslog)Preferred SkillsMinimum of 2 years of hands-on experience (Admin & User) with Linux (RHEL, CentOS, Ubuntu, etc.)Prefer experience with common security controls (e.g., Firewalls, IDS, AD, Proxies, etc.)Prefer knowledge of enterprise logging for OS, applications & various security technologiesAWS Associate Certification is a plus, Developer would be preferredTroubleshooting is a key requirement - AWS, API, Scripts, etcExperience with monitoring solutions such as DataDogExperience with building or maintaining cloud-native applications**Location: Remote with travel up to 10% (including possible international travel)#LI-RemoteSecureworks (A Dell Technologies Company)is committed to the principle of equal employment opportunity for all employees and to providing employees with a work environment free of discrimination and harassment.
