What You’ll Do:

  • Design, implement, and document new features, tools, and optimizations for Exostellar’s cloud-native ML/AI infrastructure optimization platform.
  • Research and prototype cutting-edge AI/ML infrastructure, CPU/GPU virtualization, and scheduling techniques to improve system performance and cost efficiency.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to translate research insights into production-ready solutions.
  • Contribute to academic and industry-leading publications in virtualization, cloud computing, and distributed systems.


What We’re Looking For:

  • Currently pursuing or completed a Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Computer Science or a related field.
  • Proficiency in Go and/or C/C++.
  • Experience or coursework in Operating Systems, Virtualization, Networking, Storage, and Cloud Computing.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with an ability to work in a fast-paced startup environment.
  • Ability to work independently and remotely, if not based in Ithaca, NY, or Santa Clara, CA.
