As part of this Group Protection IT, this developer will have the challenge, fun and excitement to be part of an agile team, assisting with designing and a key role implementing best in class technical and business solutions. Lincoln's Claims and Group Protection Businesses are evolving and embracing technology transformation across the board, and in this role, you get an opportunity to develop solutions in the Cloud, on-prem, integrations with software vendors and tooling. What you'll be doing:
+ You will work with all members of the team(s) to ensure the technical solution is aligned with the strategic direction and intent of the work. To that end, the role will:
+ As a team owning and managing the full lifecycle of web applications and technical solutions; from designing, writing, testing, building, deploying, monitoring, supporting
+ Using tools with expertise such as Atlassian (Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence), New Relic, and Slack, to drive operations and collaboration
+ Exhibits, fosters, and cares for solution quality and efficacy
+ Champion lean-Agile and DevOps principles and practices while supporting a culture of innovation and continuous learning
+ Help to support and maintain a professional culture within the team, where individuals take ownership and focus on delivering excellence, quality and value for the customer and business
+ Understand the technology roadmap & how it ties back to work being executed on
+ Constructing and implementing software within a full stack environment (Front end, API, persistence, integrations)
What we're looking for
+ 3-5+ years of professional experience developing applications in a Java framework
+ Experience with microservice design (Service-Oriented Architecture) and RESTful web servicesExperienced Spring Boot (Java)
+ Experienced with tools such as Atlassian, Tomcat, Bitbucket, Bamboo, JIRA, Confluence, New Relic, and Slack, to drive operations and collaboration
+ Experience with working within a fully dedicated Agile team
+ Familiarity with Continuous Integration/Delivery and DevOps #
+ The ability to own and managing the full lifecycle of web applications, from designing, writing, testing, building, deploying, monitoring
+ Familiarity with Oracle, Postgres, AWS
+ Java, JPA,J-unit, Spring Boot, AWS,Postgress, MySQL, Sybase, Oracle, Dynamo,
+ API / Rest - service orientated architectur
+ Atlassian suite including Jira
