Job Summary:
The entry-level full-stack engineer will work on a fast-moving, autonomous team. This person's role is to come up to speed quickly on OpenGov development practices and processes,, ask questions and learn, take direction and receive mentorship from more senior members of the team, and contribute high quality code.
Responsibilities:
Develop code for a system comprising robust microservices using modern Javascript frameworks
Collaborate on a fully agile team which includes developers, product, design, and other customer success stakeholders
Deliver features iteratively
Participate in estimation and planning activities with the team
Contribute to OpenGov's Engineering culture of innovation, leading-edge technology adoption, and quality
Requirements and Preferred Experience
BS/BA in a computer-science related discipline preferred
Strong verbal and written communication skills in English required
Familiarity with Javascript language required and frameworks like Angular, React, and Ember preferred
