Software Engineer/ JIRA Administrator

ALTA is looking for a Software Engineer Jira Administrator for a contract to hire role with our client. Clearable This position is remote through COVID. After COVID there may be some in person work needed at one of their many national offices. Responsibilities Configure, deploy and administer commercial and open source software Maintain strong expertise and knowledge of current and emerging technologies and products. Provide best practice, recommendations and guidance to manage MBSE and SSLM operations at scale Ability to implement a configuration management solution Basic Qualifications Level 3 Bachelor's degree in STEM with five (5) or more years of experience or Master's Degree in STEM, with three (3) or more years of experience Excellent communication skills Ability to multitask and take on new technologies Exposure to web-based software development or operations Have a broad understanding of development, web operations, SDLC, etc Strong technical foundation in several of the following technologies Continuous Integration Tools Jenkins, Bamboo Containers Kubernetes, Docker SCM tools Github, git, IBM CLM, BitBucket MBSE tools Teamwork Cloud, Cameo, Rhapsody, Matlab, STK, ModelCenter, DOORs Scripting Languages, Shell, Python, Perl, Ruby JIRA Administrative experience required, JIRA certification desired.
