What You Will Own This position is a remote position, responsible for creating and maintaining software applications used by LifeSouth and its customers. This position's responsibilities will cover the full software development life cycle, including requirements, design, development, release, and support. Responsibilities include (but are not limited to) Implement and test software applications in management-provided time frames Provide tier 3 application support to external customers. This includes diagnosing issues, identifying potential solutions, and developing. Review and maintain technical artifacts Participate in and initiate code reviews. Recommend improvements to the team's processes and procedures. Create, maintain, and execute unit tests. Ability to use and understand source control tools. Assist with defect and enhancement management. Provide reports on status and issues to team members, supervisors, and management. Effectively communicate with manager and team members. Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned. Must have consistent and reliable transportation. Timeliness and attendance are requirements of this position. Estimate effort required to design and implement project deliverables, milestones, and tasks Minimum Qualifications Associate's degree in computer science or related field required. An equivalent combination of education, training, and experience may be substituted. Minimum Three years of experience in developing software applications Advanced computer skills and experience with computer programs. Skill in effectively communicating with technical and non-technical personnel. Must be detail-oriented Ability to organize and manage time effectively. Valid driver's license.
