Job Summary:
OpenGov is looking to hire an experienced SDET (Software Development Engineer in Test II) to be part of our Reporting Platform Quality Team in the R&D Organization. Quality Engineering is a cross-functional and distributed group of SDETs in OpenGov's R&D organization. SDETs work hand in hand with developers in fast-moving autonomous teams. The successful candidate will take a hands-on role to design and implement automation tests and also perform functional testing of features with access to industry-standard tools and services to get the job done. Responsibilities:
Help define the quality strategy for the Reporting Platform team
Create testing artifacts such as test plans, test cases, test reports, and tests.
Review product requirement documents in close collaboration with product managers and tech leads to create and document test strategies and test cases for features.
Review test strategies and test case documents for other SDETs in the team.
Perform code reviews for other SDETs in the team.
Develop automated tests for regression, feature testing and performance testing (we use
