Your Opportunity We would like to bring on a Software Developer to our team that is responsible for our Retirement Plan Services - Advice and Managed Accounts. This role calls for strong software application design and development skills, along with a desire to work closely with Technology and Business Teams. This role will provide an individual with excellent growth opportunities with regards to their technical skillset. The opportunity provides candidates exposure to a seasoned team with lengthy experience in their respective domain, along with a supportive leadership team that allows for flexibility in how the team can best achieve success. What you are good at As Software Developer, the role will require someone who can do the following: • Assist with design and development of software application systems mainly revolving around managed solutions for our 401k retirement plans • Participate on an agile team of developers, testers, product owners and scrum masters. • Participate in discussions and engage other team members to gather system requirements where minimal information is provided. • From time to time, perform manual testing and investigate ways to automate these tests • Release applications to production environments on a regular basis. • Provide production application support for applications that require 99% uptime. • Possess a good balance of strong technical skills along with excellent communication and enjoy working in a collaborative team environment. What you have Responsible for applications development in an enterprise architecture environment within .net framework using C#. Must be able to apply SDLC concepts and have a proven track record of delivering solid, robust applications. Must have a good understanding of Object Oriented Programming concepts, have experience working on distributed platforms or Windows, and have experience in a service oriented architecture. Knowledge of Scrum or other iterative development methodologies is required. Must have strong interpersonal, analytical, problem solving and organizational skills, and the ability to independently work as a contributing member in a high-paced and focused team.
