Why is this role important to us?

As a Social Media + Content Marketing Manager, you ll own our social and content engine, from planning through to execution. Board of Innovation has grown organically based on a strong content marketing engine, and you ll be responsible for continuing to lead that strategy. You will own our social media and be responsible for pushing engaging content to grow our networks.

We re looking for a creative and compelling storyteller that thrives in a fast-paced environment, to become part of our Global Marketing and Sales team. The role will be responsible for delivering high performing content that can be used across different marketing programs and social media channels to concisely communicate our brand in compelling ways. You will closely collaborate with our PR agency to elevate our brand profile.

The ideal candidate is an autonomous self-starter who demonstrates attention to detail and quality, and has a passion for creative content creation and social media and some PR experience.

Your role at a glance:

  • You oversee the content strategy, content calendar, content curation from the global Board of Innovation team, and distribution/tracking
  • You partner with our consultants to develop original content in a variety of formats, from blog posts and website pages to ebooks, whitepapers, infographics, webinars, videos, and more
  • You maximize the value and reach of our content by turning high-performing assets into a library of derivative pieces for use in multiple channels
  • You collaborate closely with the Performance Marketing Manager to map and optimize content across the buyer journey to drive acquisition and leads
  • You manage the relationship with our freelance resources and external partners
  • You manage full-funnel social media, publishing/tracking/engagement
  • You ensure created content is on-brand, consistent in terms of style, quality and tone of voice. Be a steward of best practices in messaging, grammar, writing, and style
  • You work with internal teams to identify key opportunities, launches, trends and data, and develop content relevant for the customer
  • You will be a go-to resource for our PR agency and assist in efforts to drive our global brand impact against key consumer, B2B and healthcare targets.

You will be a great fit if you have:

  • A passion for delivering engaging content across a variety of social media channels
  • +3 years of experience in content marketing, preferably in a B2B setting
  • Experience with content marketing and a flair for words
  • Experience owning and steering a content pipeline - with everything from ideation through to execution and publishing
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
  • A background in digital marketing or similar
  • A thinker and a doer mindset-excited about driving strategy while simultaneously rolling up your sleeves to write and edit content in a variety of formats
  • Strong project management skills and attention to detail
  • Creative messaging skills based on value, use cases, and customer outcomes
  • Proven ability to deliver results and prioritize tasks in a fast-moving, dynamic environment
