REED Technology are pleased to be working with a Financial Services organisation based in central Bath who are looking to recruit a new Service Desk Analyst to join the team.
This role will see you being the primary point of contact for internal and external support issues, as well as providing support for data management as part of the main services offered by the organisation.
This role is open to candidates from varying levels of experience and this will be reflected in the appointed salary. You may be a school, college or university leaver (with relevant IT qualifications) looking for your first role within IT, or you may have 1-2 years' experience providing IT Support within a commercial setting, in which case, you would start at a higher point on the pay scale.
For all participants, a structured development plan will be put into place to develop your skills from whichever point you start at, with career progression opportunities available within the wider team as time goes on.
This role will be predominantly remote and will see you working within the Bath Office as little as once a month to a maximum of once per week dependent on your training needs.
Duties will involve:
* The day-to-day operation of the service desk, responding to and resolving incidents, escalating to other members of the support team where required.
. Configuring and training users on key customer facing systems, responding to member queries.
. Providing internal IT support to staff, as such the candidate will need to have excellent customer service and communication skills.
. Supporting projects taking place within the organisation; this aspect of the role will involve pro-active coordination, task management and delivery assistance on behalf of project leads.
. Involvement in managing customer data collection, liaising with members and internal stakeholders to ensure timely completion of the data cycle import and validation tasks.
