Senior Sales Executive R - Remote / Work from Home

Job Description Summary:

The eOriginal Senior Sales Executive (SSE) is responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives and quotas, primarily through the acquisition of new clients. This includes working with clients and partners to understand their strategic vision, objectives and needs while aligning our products, services and solutions where opportunities exist. Through strong business acumen this role will demonstrate a solid understanding of the industry drivers and trends that are impacting our customers and partners and defining business and buying decisions. The SSE must be able to navigate multiple organizational levels in the Financial Services Industry (Banks and Non-Bank Financial Institutions) and gain access to line of business, legal and technology decision makers, resulting in revenue generation for the company's software and on demand solutions.

Job Qualifications (Minimum):
  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Science degree or Supplemental relevant education such as sales training programs
  • Experience: 5+years of Direct B2B Sales experience, with a proven track record of achievement and stability
  • Experience selling into the Financial Services Industry is required.
  • Accomplished negotiation skills
  • Drive, conscientiousness, and perseverance to conduct outbound sales contacts daily.
  • Experience using Salesforce.com as CRM is required.

Travel requirements:
  • Travel requirement: less than 20%.
  • This position is eligible for remote work subject to Wolters Kluwer's Flex Work policy and the business requirements of the team
  • Prefer candidate to sit in MD-Baltimore-West Pratt Street office (willing to consider remote / work from home for qualified candidate) #LI-Remote

Preferred Experience Knowledge, Skills, Abilities or Certifications (minimum):
  • Education: Bachelor of Arts/Science degree in Business, Marketing, IT or related track.
  • Experience: Accomplished negotiation skills - working within a "decision by committee" environment
  • Strong presentation and communication skills (verbal, written, and active listening)
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task within a fast paced, dynamic environment
  • Team oriented with ability to succeed in an entrepreneurial environment.

Essential Duties and responsibilities:
  • Responsible for meeting or exceeding assigned sales objectives and quotas through new customer acquisition and expansions into new lines of business within an assigned portfolio of 'named accounts.'
  • Must be highly accomplished at driving client partnerships by successfully calling on high level executives and strategic thinkers, as well as working across all levels within an organization to ensure success for the company.
  • Develop and execute Strategic Account Plans, in conjunction with Account Team where applicable, to identify key stakeholders, white space and account specific goals and strategies. Develop and execute deal close plans for more tactical opportunities.
  • Establish a proactive cadence to follow up on opportunities and leads. Become methodical in following up with a diverse set of accounts across multiple financial service verticals, with focus on both quality and size as a primary means of time and resources invested.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with our integration and reseller partners to identify, strategically plan and close joint sales opportunities.
  • Educate and effectively communicate the value of company solutions to prospect decision-makers including 'C-level' business leaders, technical staff, legal, and operations personnel in prospective accounts.
