We are currently seeking a highly skilled Senior Revenue Consultant to join our team. In this role, you will work closely with clients to assist them in navigating the intricacies of revenue recognition accounting. As a subject matter expert, you will help clients streamline processes, adopt best practices, and ensure compliance with the latest accounting standards.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients in implementing revenue recognition standards, such as ASC 606, and ensure compliance with GAAP.
  • Evaluate and improve revenue recognition processes to enhance accuracy, efficiency, and transparency.
  • Advise clients on complex revenue recognition issues and provide practical solutions.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including finance, legal, and sales, to ensure alignment and understanding of revenue recognition requirements.
  • Prepare technical memos and documentation to support revenue recognition policies and positions.
  • Stay up to date with the latest developments in revenue recognition standards and communicate the impact to clients.
  • Deliver training sessions to clients on revenue recognition principles and best practices.
  • Participate in business development activities, including client meetings and proposal preparation.

Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or related field.
  • CPA certification preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in revenue recognition accounting.
  • Deep understanding of ASC 606 and other revenue recognition standards.
  • Experience working with clients in a consulting capacity is highly desirable.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work.
