We are seeking a highly experienced and dedicated Quality Engineer in our Optum/OCIO Enterprise Clinical Technology group. The ideal candidate will work in the Eastern or Central US Time zones and have early morning meetings with technical teams in OGS India offices.

If you are located within the eastern or central time zone you will enjoy the flexibility to telecommute* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate QA efforts across several functional teams (project delivery for Salesforce)
  • Review design specifications to ensure understanding of project
  • Identify test requirements from specifications and design testing to ensure coverage of project
  • Develop, document and maintain test cases including data, and scripts used
  • Execute and evaluate manual or automated test cases and report test results
  • Identify any potential quality issues immediately report to manager
  • Isolate, replicate, and report bugs and verify bug fixes
  • Working knowledge of Oracel/SQL
  • Write SQL queries for querying data
  • Coordinate efforts of offshore test engineers
  • Agile Teamwork experience - Scrum teams
  • Expertise in Performance testing Capabilities

Required Qualifications:

  • Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience
  • 4+ years of solid Quality Assurance technical work experience
  • 2+ years of experience creating clear, concise detail-oriented test plans/cases
  • 2+ years of experience designing the Automation Frameworks, Creating the Test Scripts
  • 2+ years of experience doing test architecture and test design along with Manual testing agility and interaction
  • If you need to enter a work site for any reason, you will be required to screen for symptoms using the ProtectWell mobile app, Interactive Voice Response (i.e., entering your symptoms via phone system) or a similar UnitedHealth Group-approved symptom screener. Employees must comply with any state and local masking orders. In addition, when in a UnitedHealth Group building, employees are expected to wear a mask in areas where physical distancing cannot be attained

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience in Web Services Testing
  • 1+ year of solid experience with of Salesforce & concepts
  • 1+ year of experience testing Salesforce platform
  • Solid with Automation Tools (Java [Core Java], Selenium, Cucumber, Jenkins, Saucelabs)
  • Working Knowledge of Salesforce and related certifications

Colorado Residents Only: The salary range for Colorado residents is $64,800 to $116,000.
